　　90年代，流行樂壇吹起了一陣以柔美女聲與電子音樂旋律為主軸的個人/團體，Mono、
        DubStar、Moloko… 一時間在盡是搖滾的流行樂春水上，吹出了一圈圈的漣漪。是以
        為流行風向球轉向以柔克剛的角度，豈知道這一轉不分左右地成黑色一片。雖說音樂
        沒有好壞，但聽多了同質性越來越高的說唱嘿呦之後，又不禁懷念那如閒雲野鶴的曲調。

　　來自南加州的雙人組合The Bird and The Bee小鳥與蜜蜂，一位是師承大師
        Charles Mingus鋼琴師Jaki Byard、在青少年時期便已是一個爵士鋼琴奇葩的Greg Kurstin，
        熟稔多種器樂演奏。曾與Beck、Robert Moog合作，並為The Flaming Lips、Peaches及音
        樂小魔女Lily Allen等製作並創作歌曲。另一位是成長於洛城的音樂世家，父親是70年代
        著名南方搖滾團體Little Feat的主唱兼吉他手Lowell George，曾發行個人專輯作品All Rise，
        並已是洛城獨立音樂界噹噹有名的Inara George。在製作人Mike Andrews的介紹牽線下合
        體而成。他們共同創作， Inara負責演唱，Greg 主理器樂，在創意的發揮上，相互交流，
        又在樂曲的表現上各司其職。重塑並創新了傳統的bossa nova，the bird and the bee希望
        將自己融會在經典與流行之間。用三年的時光，他們窩在Greg位在加州Echo Park自家錄
        音室裡與世無爭地創作出10首陽光浸潤且充滿夢幻的作品。每一首歌曲都有著一種神秘
        獨特的魅力。

　　從以拍手聲、鈴鼓、大貝斯與Inara慵懶的歌聲拼貼一起的首支單曲Again & Again；微風
        般的華爾茲、機械般的低音節拍加上無病呻吟般合音的Bird and the Bee；如哀樂般開場
